kharlla is a Filipina-American singer-songwriter and emerging global artist whose music blends modern pop, sultry R&B, and summer escapism — filtered through a story of identity, culture, and self-discovery.
Born in Cavite City, Philippines and adopted as a baby, she was raised in Texas, growing up between two worlds: the pull to reconnect with where she came from, and the American music and lifestyle that shaped her. After college, she returned to the Philippines to reconnect with her roots, her birth family, and her heritage — a transformative chapter that now sits at the heart of her artistry.
That duality defines her sound: globally inspired, yet emotionally rooted in her Filipino identity. Drawing on artists like Kehlani, SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tyla, kharlla folds playful femininity, flirtatious confidence, and warm summer energy into songs that feel both intimate and internationally accessible.
